內容摘要：
In this talk, we shall introduce the details of the virtual element method, including its construction and differences from the finite element method. Then, benefiting from its advantages of mesh and discrete function space, we apply the virtual element method to solve the viscoelasticity problem and the linear fluid-solid problem, respectively.
主講人介紹：
王剛，西北工業大學數學與統計學院副教授。2018年博士畢業于西安交通大學。主要從事偏微分方程的虛擬元、間斷元理論及其在多區域多物理場耦合問題中的研究，主持國家自然科學基金青年項目、中國博士后基金面上項目等，在CMAME、JSC、IJNME、IMAJNA等期刊上發表文章多篇。
